Approx. 5 years ago, Paula Florey Axt joined Bonnie and Karen to
eventually form the “all female” BBJ Remodeling Company that has
turned many heads to the joys of working with women on
remodeling projects. Many know Paula as the owner of National
Video in Basking Ridge. She brings the same enthusiasm and
creativity to BBJ as she has brought to her customers in the
past. She leaves no stone unturned in getting the job done.
Because of their excellent work, the word got out that BBJ was
the company to hire for Remodeling jobs of all sizes. BBJ has
won numerous awards and honors and has appeared in local and
national publications.
In May of 1997, they were named one of the "Top 50" Remodelers
in the Nation by Remodeling Magazine and have held this honor
for twenty-two years. On eight occasions, they were
presented the "Award of Excellence" by the Builders Association
of Somerset and Morris Counties and the Community Builders Association for
outstanding remodeling projects.
They were selected to build the "Education/Dream House" for the
Builders Association, which showed state-of-the-art construction
and involved hundreds of new products. They were featured on the
half-hour National TV show Better Your Home by Better Homes and
Gardens. A gazebo-type screen porch was constructed during the
show.
